Mag. Sophie Kandutsch - Curriculum vitae

Sophie Kandutsch studied law at the University of Vienna (Mag. iur., June 2021). During her studies, she worked as a student assistant at the Department of Corporate and Commercial Law at the chair of Prof. Dr. Chris Thomale. As part of her studies, she completed the elective course in private commercial law, was a participant in the honors program "Junge Rechtswissenschaft" and completed internships at renowned law firms. She was awarded several scholarships for her academic achievements.

Since October 2021, she has been working as a research assistant ("prae doc") at the Department of Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Vienna. Her thesis focuses on the review of foreign direct investments in the context of investment control proceedings and was funded by the Heinrich Graf Hardegg'sche Stiftung in the winter semester of 2022.

Sophie Kandutsch is a Fellow of the Advanced Research School in Law and Jurisprudence (Ars Iuris) and is a volunteer at the Vienna Law Clinic where she advises Start-ups.
