Manuel Dachs LL.M. (WU), BSc. (WU) - Curriculum vitae
Manuel Dachs studied Business Law and Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (LL.B., 2022; BSc, 2024; LL.M., 2025). In the course of his studies, he completed a semester abroad at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (Milan). Furthermore, he won the International and European Tax Moot Court and the WU preliminary round of the Corporate Law Moot Court – Contract Drafting and Contract Enforcement. He was awarded a merit-based scholarship and received several awards (WU Rector's List) for his academic achievements. He participated in the honors programs "Top League" and "Center of Excellence" of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
During his studies, he gained professional experience by working as a Student Associate at several renowned, international law firms as well as by completing an internship at the Federal Fiscal Court in Vienna. He also worked as a Student Assistant at the Institute for Public Law, Sustainability and Technology Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Chair of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christoph Krönke).
His pre-academic thesis "Humanitarian Aid in the District Neusiedl am See: A Comparison of the Hungarian Crisis of 1956 with the Refugee Crisis of 2015" was awarded the "Young Science" Fred Sinowatz Prize by the State of Burgenland.
Since April 2025, he has been working as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Commercial and Business Law (Chair Univ.-Prof. Dr. Chris Thomale, LL.M.) at the University of Vienna while pursuing his doctoral studies.
